The roots of Kingsmen Performing Arts reach back to the days of the Kingsmen Drum and Bugle Corps of Anaheim, CA. Under the direction of Don Porter, Sr., The Kingsmen won DCI’s first national Championship in 1972. The corps was very active in the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. More recently, The Kimgmem Alumni Corps (KAC) was formed in 2005 and performed in the Rose Bowl for the 2007 DCI semifinals.

For all alumni, being part of the Kingsmen organization, performing as a Kingsmen was near and dear to our hearts. While the experience itself was often challenging, this experience helped to shape the lives of our alumni in a very special and positive way. May this always be true of any and all alumni of Kingsmen Performing Arts programs.
